Karmal Sardessai is a practising architect and interior designer. She is passionate about the heritage of Goa, both cultural and built. She has conducted heritage walks in and around Panjim, a city she loves dearly and has co-authored the book Cholta Cholta – Walking Tours of Panjim.

She believes that conserving our architectural heritage is one of the challenges that Goa is facing and will be possible only through a collective effort of the owners and the state.
