Dr Jorson Fernandes

Dr. Jorson is an ENT surgeon and a trainer icon awardee of Goa. Known in the corporate world for medical safety courses and programmes on behavioural sciences, he has been the Chairman of Jr. Red Cross and Youth Red Cross for more than a decade. He has taken the movement of Indian Red Cross Society Goa Branch to its peak performance. He is the founder Chairman and Surgeon Examiner of St. John Ambulance Association, Goa. He served as the Secretary of ENT Association of Goa for 4 years and as Past President of IMA, Margao.
Dr Jorson has been Governor of Rotary international District 3170 and past State President of Goa State Jaycees. He has led a group study Exchange team to North Carolina in USA and has represented India at the Asia Pacific Regional Meet of St. John Ambulance Association under the directive of the President of India at Malaysia, Singapore and Fiji. He was the Council on legislation representative of Rotary District 3170 for global parliament in Chicago, USA. He has also led a medical mission team to Nigeria with 20 volunteers. He was the founder Chairman of the GHAG.
Presently the Chairman for Rotary Leadership Institute Zone 7 and Vice Chair for Inter Country Committee with Greece.
Dr Jorson is an Outstanding Volunteer awardee of Red Cross, Outstanding Junior Chamber International Senator awardee of Indian Jaycees and Outstanding Oil Palm Farmer of Goa and Western Zone of India.
He shares the Most Impact Category of Covid Awareness Program award with his daughter Dr. Joelene Fernandes. This award was given under the National Jagran Media and is the highest National Award given to our bravest frontier warriors in the awareness on the pandemic.
